Clinical- Effect of GEWOCOL^(¢ç)

Abstract

|
GEWOCOL¢ç is combination prescription of acetaminophen,.ibuprofen, DL-methylephedrine
HCl, caffeine, chlorpheniramine maleate; guaifenesin and dextromethorphan HBr.
It improved common cold symptoms such as headache, pharyngitis, fever and cough. Thirty patients were treated with GEWOCOL¢ç from June to July 1991.
They were given one bottle(30m1) of G.EWOCOL¢ç, t.i.d. by P.O. for an average1-7 days. 1. Thirty patients(100.0%) were improved for URI(Upper Respiratory Infection) syndromes. 2. There were eight patients(26.7%) of side effects but these were mild and transitory which were subsided by discontinuance of medication.
